Bringing Hope to Bezi Island

First-Ever Support for Bezi Island

Isolated between Kayenze and Ukerewe, Bezi Island faces poverty, unstable livelihoods, and limited access to services. Our outreach is the first of its kind here bringing hope, resources, and a promise of a brighter future.

Health Insurance for Bezi Children

We’ve provided government health insurance to 21 children of Bezi Primary School. For families who often can’t afford treatment during frequent disease outbreaks, this coverage is a lifeline ensuring that when illness strikes, care is within reach.

Equipping Young Learners

From worn-out sacks to brand new school bags, 15 children at Bezi Primary now carry their books with pride. With new uniforms, shoes, and learning materials, they can attend school with confidence and dignity.

Empowering Bezi Girls in Secondary School

Every day, students from Bezi travel by ferry to Kayenze Secondary School. We’ve supported 14 girls with sanitary pads for three months helping them stay in class, avoid absenteeism, and continue their education with dignity.

MAJOR UPDATE: The story about Stella Charles

Stella Charles, a mother from Usagara, reached out after hearing about our work on Living Water FM. Facing financial challenges, she needed support to start a small business, and our team provided assistance to help her begin a shoe business, giving her a renewed path toward independence and a better future for her family.

Today, Stella's shoe business is showing positive returns. She has grown steady enough to plan ahead and confidently support her family which is solid proof that a single act of support can carry a family for years to come.

Supplies and Support for Sangabuye Primary School

On July 24, 2026, we visited Sangabuye Primary School to give the children in our program some school supplies, like exercise books and pens. But upon meeting them we saw that there's still more materials that they need, some of the kids don't have shoes, and their uniforms are worn out. We're praying that God Connects us with people willing to sponsor these children so we can meet these needs together. We need every kind of support to help these children and many more others.

Planting Hope: 50 Trees at Kiloleli Secondary School

We teamed up with students and staff at Kiloleli Secondary School in Mwanza to plant 50 trees around the school grounds. Beyond adding greenery to the school, the activity gave students a hands-on opportunity to learn about environmental responsibility and the importance of caring for the spaces they share. Each tree represents a small investment in the future helping create a greener, healthier school environment while encouraging students to become active stewards of their community for years to come.

Empowering Women Through Soap-Making in Lumala

We provided entrepreneurship training to women in the Lumala area, equipping them with practical skills in soap-making and introducing them to the basics of turning those skills into a small business. By transforming a practical skill into an income-generating activity, the initiative supports greater financial independence and helps women contribute more confidently to the wellbeing of their families and communities.
